Bequant has reached a major milestone in its journey: over 5 terabits per second (Tbps) of optimized traffic across its global customer base. This growth has followed an exponential trajectory: while it took 45 months to reach the first 1 Tbps, the most recent terabit was added in just 12 months, demonstrating a clear acceleration in the adoption of Bequant’s technology.

To put this into perspective, 5 Tbps of optimized traffic is equivalent to the combined volume handled by the three largest Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) in the United States: Equinix Ashburn in Virginia (approx. 2.5 Tbps), NYIIX in New York (approx. 1.5 Tbps), and SIX in Seattle (approx. 1 Tbps).

According to Iñigo Serrano, VP of Business Development, this achievement represents far more than just a technical benchmark:

"Reaching this level of optimized traffic is truly rewarding. It means our solution continues to help providers improve their network performance, and it encourages us to keep evolving our product to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers."

Thanks to its ability to boost network efficiency, reduce latency, and enhance the end-user experience, Bequant has established itself as a strategic partner for ISPs seeking scalability, quality, and performance. Today, Bequant operates a robust infrastructure of over 1,000 nodes, serves 600 active customers, and helps deliver internet connectivity to millions of users across 41 countries.
